Minack Theatre - this stunning outdoor theatre is located at Porthcurno, 4 miles from Land’s End but well worth a visit. Open for plays between Easter and September.
Tate St Ives - overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this former gasworks is home to the second of the Tate’s regional galleries largely exhibiting work by modern British artists. Also under same management is the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. www.tate.org.uk
There are many local art galleries on the North Cornish coast particularly in Padstow, Port Issac and Newquay. Some offer tuition and pottery wheel throwing experiences.
Rebel Cinema - near Bude. Great for a rainy day this traditional style independent cinema shows all the latest blockbusters and is only 15 mins drive from Treval.

Cycling - there are numerous cycle trails across Cornwall including the Camel Trail, Coast to Coast Route, Tamar Trails or cycle from Lands End to Bude on The Cornish Way.
